Does High ALT Level In Blood Cause Constant Cough?

My mother is having cough for the last 3 months.She constantly coughs all day.Its hardly when I find her not coughing.ANd every afternoon she has fever.Can you kindly suggest the probable causes? Just now in her blood report I saw that her ALT level in blood is also very high than the normal range.Her's is 127.So is it anyhow linked with her cough and fever? please reply soon..

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. Constant coughing and fever are the symptoms of tuberculosis. ALT level is high, so it suggest some liver disease also. You should go for complete liver function test, ultrasound abdomen and x ray chest. It will give you exact diagnosis.
Then you should take treatment accordingly.
