Does High Protein In Urine Give False Positive Pregnancy Test Results?
I am 29 yrs old woman...having 13 months old baby
I didn't get my periods for 3 months...i was on low carb diet..but my home pregnancy test shows i am pregnant...is that due to high protein in urine or more chances to be pregnant...
>we had once sex after my last periods..but it was partially safety sex...so cant conclude please help

HI, - Yes, infected urine with protein in it is altered chemically, & it can give false +ve home pregnancy test. - You should go for - * An internal examination by a Gynecologist/Pelvic USG will help for pin pointing the diagnosis ( as it's already >3 months ) * If you are still breast feeding & have irregular menses, Blood HCG testing will diagnose as small as 1.25 months of pregnancy.
