Does Home Pregnancy Kit Show Accurate Result?

hi good morning doctor, we are planning for a kid and her last period date was dec 07 2013, we have been trying and now its almost 45 days til date the period is not happen , in betwwen 13th and 17th JAN 2014 we have taken 2 pregnancy kit where the result shows negative. do we have to wait for 1 more week and do a test again.

Please advise whether pregnancy kit or blood test will give an accurate result ?

As two home pregnancy tests are negative , so this is the best way to get in blood (hcg ) test for pregnancy.
The next way is to consult a gynecologist and get his opinion.
Hormonal imbalance may be the delay in menses .
So consult a gynecologist and get his opinion.
