Does Immotile Sperms Level Affect Fertility?

hi doctor, my semen analysis report is menitioned below, it says

rapid linear prograssive =5% grade A

Sluggish Linear Prograssive = 40% grade B

Total Froward Progression = 45% Grade A+B

Non Progressive = 15% Grade C

immotile Sperms = 40% Grade D



pus Cells = 4 -6/hpf

and i have done ultrasound scrotum, result is metioned below

Two small epididymal cysts on right side

Prostate- is minimaly enlarged 20.3 gm

possibility of prostatitis may be considered

is this will effect the fertilty

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have
what is called as Asthenospermia meaning there by that % tage of rapid progressive motile sperm is just 5% .Rapid progressive motile sperms are the only sperms which are capable to fertilize female egg.to result into pregnancy.which as per WHO norms should be more than 15%.

You have pus cells in semen which can be cause of your asthenospermia .
Please take antibiotics like DOxicycline twice daily for one month and repeat semen analysis after one month.
