Does Infection In Ovary Affect The Fertility Based On This Ultrasound Report?

hello, i am 27 years old unmarried girl. I have infection in my right ovary. My periods are on time. I feel pain on lower abdomen due to this. all i want to know that will it affect on my married life like sexually or with fertility. i am very scared My ultrasound report said : Right ovary is voluminous and having mixed echo-texture. It is hypo-echoic with small anechoic areas in it and appears to be extending toward right POD region & continuous with similar area there. Probe tenderness is noted over it. Appears to be inflammatory T.O. mass with total mass measuring 57mmx39mmx49mm with volume 59.26 ml.

There may not necessarily be any effect on your future fertility chances.

The ultrasound indicated that the area was inflamed. This can be treated with anti inflammatory pain medication and antibiotics if infection is suspected.

Eg of anti inflammatory pain medications are ibuprofen, cataflam or naproxen
