Does Intake Of Accutane Cause Irregular Periods?

I am currently in the middle of my second month on accutane. In my first month, I missed my period completely, and now in the second month I have missed the beginning of my cycle for this month. I take 60mg a day, and I m wondering if accutane messes with your menustrual cycle?

Accutane is a member of the retinoid family of medication and it has been known to cause periods to be irregular.

This means that it could definitely be the cause of the irregular cycle that you are experiencing.
It is important not to conceive on this type of medication so if you are sexually active, you need to use contraception consistently.
