General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi & Welcome.
I appreciate your concern for the safety of Apo Amlodipine.

Yes, intake of Apo Amlodipine can cause flushed and hot face.

Used in the treatment of high BP, Apo Amlodipine can cause flushing of the face with warmth feelings, throbbing headache, increased heart beats, constipation and swelling around the ankles.

This should be brought to the notice of your treating doctor so that you will be prescribed an alternate but safer medicine to lower your high BP.

Hope to have answered your query.
