HELLO, MY QUESTION IS, IS IT SAFE TO TAKE BENEDRYL FOR RASH INCURRED BY ANTIBIOTIC? THE DOCTOR CHANGES ANTIBIOTIC FOR PNEUMONIA, FROM DIOX----, TO LEVOFLOSACIN 750MG, HOPING THE ALLERGIC REACTION WOULD SUBSIDE. HE SUGGESTED ZYRTEC FOR RASH, BUT IT HAS NOT HELPED. TEMPTED TO TAKE BENEDRYL, BUT DON T KNOW IF IT IS OK TO DO SO. THANK YOU. MARY

it can be used as anti-allergic. since antibiotic is changed you can wait and prefer taking tab levocetrizine and apply caladryl lotion.
