Does Intake Of Cocaine Cause Hives?

Can cocaine cause hives? I am a user although one that has backed off significantly and will now be quitting completely. After using some tonight all of a sudden I started to break out in small hives. I have about 10 going on right now. What does this mean? Have I done it so much over the last 10 years that this is my first sign of damage?

Hi,

I strongly advise you to continue your efforts on quitting completely. Cocaine can cause skin serious problems. Specially cocaine diluted with Levamisole. It was shown that for example 70% of cocaine sold in the USA has Levamisole in it with users suffering from skin reactions.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
