Does Intake Of Cycloreg While Having PCOD Induce Periods?

HI I am Kaikesha. I have to know that I have PCOD problem last from two months i am getting periods now I am using cycloreg because this medicine was given me by my doctor six months back. I want to know that is this medicine is for periods. Thank you

Thanks for the query. I have read & understood your concern.
PCOD is a condition affecting ovulation.. so the periods are anavulatory & irregular making conception difficult.
In this condition , many a times a cyclical treatment of hormones ( oral contraceptives ) is useful in setting the hormonal imbalance & reset regular ovulating cycles.
Your doctor must have given Cycloreg with the same object. If there is no response after 3 months of such pills.. further investigations & specific treatment has to be started.
