Does Intake Of I Pill Cause Irregular Periods?

i had unprotected sex with my husband on 26th april night but with in 24 hours i took an i-pill. that month i got my periods in scheduled time, i.e.,on 18th may and it last of 5days.i have a cycle of 28-days and i usually have very normal periods. But this month i.e.,june,my periods got delayed by 9 days already,its 27th june and i didnot get my periods yet.I AM VERY SCARED. is it possible that i may get pregnant? is it the side effect of the ipill? if its a side effect then will it have an adverse effect on my reproductory system or may cause infertility or something complicated like this?

Yes, I pill can cause irregular periods. But, it is rare that the next period gets delayedwith following period coming on time.

Now,

1. Yes, you may be pregnant if you had unprotected sex at your ovulation period.
2. 10% chances -caused due to ipill
3. It will not have any side effect on reproductive system or fertility.

You can test with Home pregnancy test to ruleout pregnancy.
