Does Intake Of Losartan Help In Treating Hypertension?

Hi i m fifty and have hypertention i used to take atenolol 50 mg once daily since one year now my bp is not controlled with it and my dctr replced this with co eazi day that is losartan +hydrochlorthiazide my question isnt this is abrupt b blocker and isnt it dangerous kindly please guide me in this regard

Losartan is angiotensin receptor blocker and hydrochlorthiazide is diuretic drug...

So these combination drug doesnt contain any beta blocker...

You can take this medicine and life style changes also done

Take low salt diet...

Drink more water

Regular exercise done.... Esp... One hour Brisk walking four days in a week

High fatty food restricted

Your cardiac problem, endocrine disorder or kidney problem needs to be ruled out for rule out secondary hypertension

Take care
