Hi,

Changes in mental status are reasons for immediate evaluation. They often are due to serious potentially fatal problems. It is unlikely for a drug that has been taken for a long time to suddenly have a severe side effect. It would be ironic if it were Serotonin syndrome with an interaction between serotonin re uptake inhibitors and Serotonin (turkey). It seems very UNLIKELY and infection, stroke, other serious problem is more likely.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Matt Wachsman
