Does Intake Of Plan B Pill Cause Delayed Periods?

My name is tamara Johnson. And I already had my period for October (the 10th) then I had unprotected sex close to Halloween 4-5 days before at around 12-1 am and the same day 11am-12pm I took the plan b pill from planned parenthood. As expected I got the brown discharge but it lasted longer than a week it week thought the week I was supposed to have my period(it only lasts for 4 days) now November is almost over and I haven t gotten my regular period for the month but u had an abortion in June and ended up with an inflamed appendix.(I doubt that would affect this) but I have been taking tromidal and some other pain medication for my appendix. Could I be pregnant or rather. Am I pregnant?

Hi,

In fact, if you have bleeding after the intercourse then pregnancy is extremely unlikely for that intercourse. You should not worry.

Few days of delay in periods is quite common. If it's delayed for more then a week then you should get a pregnancy test done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
