Does Intake Of Regestrone Cause Negative Result For Pregnancy Test?
Does regestrone has anything to do with negative pregnancy test? I m having PCOS problem frequently,so took regestrone (1 tab each day) for 5 days as prescribed by doctor earlier, but also had sex with husband last month on 30th june,and date of my period was 5th july, and when it got delay i took regestrone from 15th july to 19th and as for concern tested the pregnancy today(21st july) which showed negative, i just want to know if this test is negative just beacuse of regestrone???

I really appreciate your concern, if this is pregnancy need to be confirmed then best is ultrasonography beside this all the test could give false result and may have interfere with other drugs too, it is very uncertain for all of them so better is ultrasonography test hope this information helps.
