Does Intake Of Xanax Cause Shortness Of Breath?

Recently I started having insomnia and took Benadryl for a few days, 25mg but it takes so long to work. So last night I took an older RX of Xanax XR which was mistakenly given to me for flying. I never use it but thought I d try it to sleep. It worked OK but for the last few days I am having some SOB. Nothing horrible but I am feeling like I always need to take a deep breath and can t.

In my opinion, that’s symptom is not related to Xanax, maybe it’s related to the anxiety.
