Does Intake Of Zoloft On A Regular Basis Result In Seizures?

I am on Zoloft & just heard it can cause seizures but haven t read that in the side effects comments,is this true//I want 2 discontinue this drug, I am also on LIPITOR,Trazadone & clonopin,& feel this is 2 MUCH meds 2 B ON.Thank u for ur advise! Hope 2 hear from u soon;)

Yes, Zoloft increased the risk of seizure when used in high dose (overdose) for a prolonged period of time. This side effect is usually not mentioned in labeling document because it is not a common side effect and it is seen in overdose of Zoloft only. It is usually not seen at normal recommended dose. You have not written about your concurrent conditions. Why are you taking Zoloft?? Not written anything. You can write it later on. Then we would be able to suggest in detail. Abrupt withdrawal of any medicines might aggravate your problems.
Advice
1.     Continue all medicines including Zoloft. Do not stop or alter dose by yourself unless suggested by your doctor because some diseases need lifelong treatment. All mentioned medications can be taken safely for long time. So continue all medications.
