I can understand your problem due to raised AST & ALT levels.
There are four drug components present in Nyquil
Acetaminophen, Dextrometharphan, Doxylamine &
Pseudoephedrine.
The fact that you are still continuing to consume alcohol 4 - 5 times a week.

Dextromethorphan & Doxylamine together with Alcohol can increase nervous system side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty concentrating. Some people may also experience impairment in thinking and judgment. Using Hydrocodone along with Alcohol may result in impairment of judgment, thinking, and psychomotor skills. In more severe cases, hypotension, respiratory depression, profound sedation, coma may occur.
