Does Intake Of Birth Control Pills Postpone Periods?

Hello! I was wondering how exactly I can skip a month of my menstrual cycle or make it come earlier on the birth control pills? I am going on vacation at the end of March, but when I counted, my period will be here at the same time. So right now I am taking pills that are 21 days and 7 days rest. My next 7 days rest are due on 27th of February. I heard that if you just start a new packet straight after the 21 pills instead of having the 7 days rest, you will be able to skip your period all together. My question is, if I would like to skip my period for the end of march, (March 26-31) will I have to continue the new packet after February s 21 pills, or after March s 21 pills? Because my March pills will end on the 25th. I am okay with having my February menstruals. Should I be doing February 21 + 7 rest March 21 + 21? Or February 21 + March 21 to skip the March 26th -31st period?? Thank you!

Thank you for your query
You seem to have done your research well.
Please do the Feb 21+rest then continue the March 21+21 to skip the March period

This way you'll get your period in February and not in March.
Happy journey
