General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Shortness of breath, chest pain, severe headache or dizziness, loss of vision, jaundice are some of the serious adverse effects and should be treated immediately. Mood changes are also common with hormonal contraceptives.

I would suggest you to stop the drug and watch for the symptoms to stop. You should also visit your gynaecologist to switch to another type of contraception in order to avoid the side effects of morning after pill.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
