Does Intake Of Formula Milk Increase Baby S Weight?
I have delivered premature baby at 25weeks with 730grms weight. my breastmilk production is not sufficient for him, breastmilk donation only. now he is 6months old (3months correct age). my concern is can i gave pre nan? Pre nan can increase my baby weight ? or nan optipro is also ok for my baby? thanks
Mother’s milk is the best for baby. However, in preterms, the requirements will be high and the production may not be sufficient. You can give supplements like Nanpro or Similac.
Similac is more or less similar to human milk and help to gain adequate weight. If baby can not suck. You can give Palada feeds.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
