Does Jaundice Lead To Lung Cancer?

my mother has been diagnosed with jorndus for the last 5 weeks , and origionally they said it was down to her being perscribed strong antibiotics ,now though they are saying she needs a liver biopsy and were all thinking i may be cancer, as they hav'nt said either way , would you be able to tell if there was a cancer from just blood tests ?

Hi Dear
Jaundice per se is a symptom of disease it may be due to antibiotics or may be due to other reason, in your mothers case you may go for serum AFP level and usg whole abdomen to rule out liver cancer but it will only be supportive, for a definite diagnosis of liver cancer liver biopsy is must.
