Does Kidney Infection Delay Periods?

Hi I am currently 5 days late with my period, I am very careful and it is unlikely that i am pregnant. I took a test to ease my mind, and as expected, it was negative. I had a kidney infection during the month and was given antibiotics, Could this delay my cycle?
