Hi,

There are lots of causes for nail and hair not growing of which vitamin D deficiency is one of them. I would advise you to take supplement having vitamin A, D, C, B complex, zinc, iron and have a protein rich diet. Reduce the stress level, if you have any, to ensure good hair growth.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anoop Kumar, General & Family Physician
