Does Late Periods After Having Sex Followed By Intake Of Levonelle Suggest Pregnancy?

Hello, I had sex mid cycle last month but the condom slipped off. The next morning I took the morning after pill, levonelle. I had spotting (to which I took 3 home pregnancy tests - all negative) which led to a normal period at the usual time last month. However this month my period hasn t arrived, I m over a week late and panicking and feeling sick and tired, please help

Pregnancy tests detect the HCG hormone. They can normally pick up this hormone by day 11 to 14 after conception.

If the tests were done in this time frame, they are likely accurate and there is another cause for the period delay.
Other causes of delayed period include:(1) high levels of the prolactin hormone
(2)emotional stress or illness
(3)physical illness
(4)abnormal levels of thyroid hormone
(5)polycystic ovarian syndrome .

IF the pregnancy tests were done before the time mentioned, then you should repeat them.
