Does Levipil 250mg Consumption Can Causes Seizures?

my son aged 21 taking 250mg levipil twice aday since last 6 months as he had 2 seizer durin last 6 months my email id is YYYY@YYYY
my sons mri reports of brain and spinal cord are normal eeg is also normal since last 3 - 4 months he devoloped tremmor in complete body
pl. guide me

Hi dear.Levetiracetam (levipil) is anti-epileptic medication and is used for treatment of seizures.It doesnot cause seizures.It causes muscle weakness, difficulty coordinating your movements and changes in behaviour as side effects.I would suggest you to take an opinion of your treating MD if your son is experiencing these symptoms.Hope this answers your query.
