Hallow Dear,

9 April does happen to fall in the fertile window when you had menses on 28 April. So intercourse on this date does carry a possibility of pregnancy. Moreover, your periods were delayed.

Occasionally, during early pregnancy, some amount of slight bleeding around the expected time of menses is known. This used to be called as placental sign in good old days.

I feel the best option for you is to perform some pregnancy test to find out any evidence of pregnancy.

Pregnancy test on overnight first morning urine sample a week after the expected date of menses can give reliable evidence; earlier these tests may give false negative results. Alternatively you may opt for Beta hCG test on the blood which is highly reliable and sensitive test.

I hope this will resolve your dilemma.
