Does Local Anastasia Causes Prickly Pain In Arms?

Hi, I had a wisdom tooth removed yesterday under local anaesthetic and during the procedure I experienced severe pins & needles in both arms. The extraction was pretty straight forward but my arms do still feel tingly this morning.

Is this a normal reaction to local anaesthetic? I've had many local & general surgeries previously and have not experienced this before.
