Does Marijuana Enter The Body Through Passive Smoking?

I do not personally smoke weed however my husband does. We have a room in the house where he goes to smoke because he is not allowed to anywhere else. I sometimes go into the room and hang out on the couch to watch a movie. Today my my rheumatologist drug tested me. I had marijuana in my system. How can this happen? I was very embarrassed and wanted to scream. I had to explain the situation to him. I have been going to him for 2 1/2 years and never have been tested before. He gave me a warning. Please tell me why this happened. I have now banned my husband from smoking at all in the house. He can go outside!!

Yes, but not enough to trigger a urine test to be positive. Mostly. But an ultrasensitive test of saliva DID turn positive from second hand smoke

Frankly, a false positive to marijuana is much more likely.

Certainly hemp product ingestion can do that. Probably some aspirin like drugs and perhaps chocolate.
