Does Medication Cause Nausea And Vomiting?
My daughter (25) has hypopituitarism due to surgery removal of tumor. Last May 2013 she started having nausea for 2-3 days followed by vomiting and trips to the hospital. She takes synthroid, hydrocortisone, vimpat, lamictal, desmopressin, and trivora. Her doctor finally lowered her vimpat late November but she was recently in the hospital again. Is the vimpat or her other medications causing this?

Yes, in all likelihood this is a side effect of the medication she is taking. Synthroid is known to cause nausea, while Lamicatal causes nausea and vomiting.
Talk to your doctor and ask if there are any other medications that she may take or ask him to prescribe her with antihistamines to help reduce the nausea and vomiting.
