Does Medication For Anemia Cause Dry Skin Patches?

I have circular dry patches on my skin and now on my outer vagina. They do not itch or burn. I have been taking iron pills daily for my anemia and I thought they could be causing the dry skin, but I really need to know if that's the cause of the dry spots on my vagina
