Does Medication For Breast Cancer Cause Moodiness?

my mom in law have breast cancer, and right now, she is taking pills for it, and every time she starts to nags and starts to get really bitchy and annoyant to me. it really starting to stress me out and making me depressed. does that really cause her being moody or something like that ? please help.
