Does Medicines For Diabetes Cause Itchy Skin?

i am a diabetic for past 10 yrs.recently i my skin have become very itchy,with red color and water is oozing out,more on my legs.my doctor says it is allegry due to medicines.i am 67 yrs old.kindly advise and whom should i consult? endocrinologost has told that it is not due to diabetics
