Does Medroxyprogesterone Cause Sinus Tachycardia?

I am a Cardiologist. Do you have any experience with sinus tachycardia as a side effect of medroxyprogesterone? I am looking for actual sinus tachycardia as opposed to patient reports of tachycardia. thank you. that s okay... I can do my own search... don t feel like going through the payment on this one! cheers!

Dear colleague,

Cheers. I have not seen sinus tachycardia as a direct effect of this steroid, but in excess corticosteroids may lead to a mineralocorticoid effect, fluid overload and compensatory tachycardia depending on the substrate.

Hope this helps, wish you the best,
