Does Menopause Causes Depression,sleeplessness And Loss Of Appetite?

my mom is a depression patient as tol by Doctor. always was a very confident and dominating lady all her life after marraige. but now getting negative feeling. talking anyything and everything she wants , very less sleep and no feeling of hunger at all. She now takes medecines: Betacap 20, relihexy , parocen cr 12.5, zolipax sr 0.5 ..all this medeines twice a day and lorel -2 once at night while sleepig. after starting this medecines she is always in a sleepy mood and is always sleeping . i can see some improvement in him but somewhere i can see that my mother is getting lost somewhere... please suggest ..i am scared of losing her . her age is 55 and just few monhts ago she has also had her menopause .. but not stopped completely.
