Does Metformin Cause Diarrhea And Dehydration When Suffering From Hypothyroidism?

hello I am a 46 y.yo female....low thyroid on armour thyroid 2 tabs one day 1 1/2 the next......dianosed also with niddm and put on 1000 metformin a day... have severe diarrhea ...possible dehydration...so weak I cant hardly get out of bed...dont feel like doing anything....think its metforminside effects your idea?

Metformin causes diarrhea, bloating, abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting in some patients, who are sensitive to this drug.
