Does Micro Vascular Brain Disease Cause Walking Difficulty And Eye Problems?

Does micro vascular brain disease cause walking difficulty? eye problems? strokes? What causes the problem to start with? My sister does not have diabetes; which seems to be mentioned in most answers I read online. She is 62, is overweight at 240 pounds, has a history of prescription drug abuse and depression for most of her adult life. She is a former smoker of tobacco and a former drinker of too much alcohol for about 20 years and has been quit for about 20 years. She has a combative personality that has worsened with this brain issue. Here's a hint; she's had 5 husband's and 7 divorces (one 3 times). What will help more than anything? She is alone now and getting worse fast. Will she be one that can be assited by assisted living in a memory center or will she get kicked out for her combative personality? BJ
