If the Blood pressure is 83 over something means systolic BP is 83. Is that what you really mean? Because that is a very low systolic blood pressure. Anyway my advice is that since the person is 85 years old, check into a hospital and do an EKG just to rule out any small heart attacks. Myocardial Infarction is always a possibility in old age. It could also be other heart problems or something related to the lungs. Take care and have a good day.
