Does Missing Potassium Intake Cause Shortness Of Breath?

I have been on a Potassium prescription and I ran out...its been about a week that I haven't had it. I'm not feeling well and was wondering what symptoms would arise from not having my Potassium? I feel a little short of breath. Tightness in my chest. I do have an anti-anxiety medication but I usually don't need to take it in the morning.
