I received my blood test results and I m 12 weeks pregnant. My T4 was 1.1ng/dL and TSH was 4.86 mlU/L.Never had issues with thyroid before. But I see that it s high.I don t see my doctor for two weeks.Sould I see him sooner? And is it risking my baby s health?
Hi Your TSH level is slightly higher than normal if you weren't pregnant, but, because you are pregnant it should be lower and you may be hypothyroid and your doctor may decide to put you on thyroid hormone replacement
