Does My Partner Having An Autistic Child Increase The Risk Of Autism In Our Future Biological Children?

Hi there, my partner and I were thinking about having children, but had some concerns. He has a daughter with autism from his previous relationship. He believes he s at a higher risk of having another autistic child if we choose to have some of our own biological children. I was wondering the validity of of his belief as it was with his previous partner.
