Does Nocturnal Emission Need Medical Attention?

Hello Doctor, Good Noon. I m 25 now. Past few days I m getting sexual dreams often and often try to read erotic stories. Also involve in masturbation during my week off ( weekly once masturbate). Now I am worried and confused about this masturbation activity. Is it normal or abnormal.? Do I need to take any medicine? Will it affect my partner after marriage to get her conceived (probably will get married at 27). Please consider this question from all boys of my age and kindly give detailed answer and solutions. Thanks in advance.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It's perfectly normal for boys of your age to masturbate or have erotic dreams. No, it will not affect your future chances of having a baby.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Prakruthi, General & Family Physician
