Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Doc, I accidentally fingered my girlfriend with semen on my fingers. She was ovulating at the time. But I think I wiped it off before I fingered her. So it may be dry when I did it. Is their a high chance of her getting pregnant? I need your help so bad. I bought Nordette for her to take but she doesn t want to yet cause we re not actually sure of the situation and she s scared of the side effects. Please help doc. It s driving us both crazy. Thank you so much in advance.
Hello, I can understand your concern. It is highly unlikely that your girlfriend would get pregnant this way. There are instances when semen fallen on the thighs of the female accidentally entering into her body and causing pregnancy. But this is very rare. In your case i think this is highly unlikely. You need not worry about it. But still if you are unsure i would advice emergency contraceptive like ipill(levorgestral) to be taken immediately i.e atleast before 72 hrs from the act of intercourse. You need not worry about the sideeffects for first time use, but donot make it a habit. Hope you are satisfied with the response. Thanks for choosing HCM
