Does Nose Piercing Cause Swelling Of Lymph Nodes Below The Jaw?

The glands in my neck are swollen. I believe they are the submental nodes, they ones right below my jaw. I recently got my nose pierced; about three days ago. I haven t noticed any signs of infection... But could they be swollen because of that? Or are they completely unrelated?

helloo..read through ur query..and accirdingly i feel that the lymph node inflammation can be due to piercing of the nose..as the nose drains into these lymph nodes..but nothing to be worried...it will be healing by its own..u can take antibiotics(amoxicillin)for 3 days..(dose specified by ur doctor)..be cool it is a common infection..it heals by its own..its just our bodyz immune response to an injury(piercing)..it will be fine soon..be happy and smile..hope ur benefitted something from this reply..have a healthy day!!!
