Does Numbness Occur On Head After Removal Of Cyst From Fore Head?

Hello. I had a lipoma removed from my forehead (fairly close to my hairline) and what turned out to be a cyst, right by my collarbone - this past Tuesday. The top of my head is still numb... is this normal? Also, the stitches by my collarbone are red, but not sore and only where the stitches are... does that sound ok?
