Does Optivar Help To Cure Allergic Conjunctivitis?

I've been using the generic form of optivar for a week in treatment for the red, itchy, watery eyes associated with allergic conjunctivitis. The only symptom that has gone away is the watery eyes. They are still red and itchy, it seems any relief that the drops give me last only 4 hours at most. Is this normal?

probably you need even higher medications like surface steroids to control the inflammation for a week then can continue optivar to maintain it for couple of months.
