Does Orange Color Vaginal Discharge While On Birth Control Indicate Pregnancy?

So I had sex with my girlfriend on the de count day of here period and I went in side her. Then a couple days later she noticed her blood was an orangeish color. She takes birth control but the doctor said it was a 50/50 chance of it working. I need to know if she is pregnant or not help me please

Hi,

Some contraceptive pills have side effect of irregular periods which can be orange coloured blood also. If you she takes the pills regularly as prescribed..there is sure contraception. BUT if the pills are taken irregularly or this is the first course of pills started in mid periods. There can be 50-50 chances and in that case you have to check for conception by home pregnancy test after period is delayed by 8 days. If pregnancy is positive, you have to terminate it as the contraceptives are hazardous to the fetus.
