Does Ovarian Cyst Affect Fertility?

i have right ovarian cyst and i was adviced by my gyne to take primolut n.i took it for 5 days.she atold me 3-5 days after taking it i will bleed.its been one week since i took but still i dont have my period.does my cyst the reason why i dont get my period?
