Does Ovarian Cyst Cause Lower Abdominal Pain Before Periods?

my 19 year old daughter is having lower abdominal pain on her right side. She has had ovarian cysts in the past but the pain usually happens right before her period starts. She finished her last period on Monday. Could these symptoms at this time in her cycle be caused from an ovarian cyst?

Hello dear. I think she is suffering pms pre menstrual syndrome that is pain in lower abdomen, not well being. Is usefull to take antiinflamatories at this point . Ponstan is usefull. If cysts are present they worsen it. You have to do an ultrasound to consider cysts if they are or no. If there is no cyst theres nothing to worry. I want to know what means she had cysts in past. Did she had surgery or drug therapy that they are not now? Best regards.
