Dear sir

Cilacar containes cilnidepine which belongs to group of calcium channel blockers. This is a newer drug in the drug market, earlier amlodepine was widely used and even it is used

Usually calcium channel blockers are safe in elderly and renal impaired patients, its efficacy in controlling blood pressure is also good.

Cilnidepine has better tolerance level and does not cause pedal edema, as it is caused by heart failure.

But one of the known side effects of calcium channel blockers is fluid retention and aggravation of heart failure.

But the doses which you are taking right now is considered safe and permitted

Dont worry

Thanks
